Uptown Restaurant & Lounge strives to provide our guests with a bustling bar scene, creative and delicious menu, and an upscale yet casual environment.

We opened our doors on March 11th, 2002 and have committed ourselves to providing our guests with everything they should deserve & expect.  Your patronage is not taken for granted, but appreciated.  A sincere thank you for letting us be your top rated venue on the Upper East Side in  New York City.   

Our menu is diverse: offering  fresh, delicious, food at a reasonable price.  Our chefs produce a top notch meal.  No bells and whistles, just really tasty.  Each dish is prepared from scratch using the finest ingredients.   

We offer over 35 wine varietals by the glass, an extensive craft beer selection, full selection of fine spirits, and a unique specaility drink menu.

Our unique space allows each guest the desired atmosphere to enjoy their evening.  Sit at the main bar and watch your favorite team on one of our 5 flat screen tvs.  Our cozy dining room is situated away from the bar to allow a more intimate evening.  Enjoy outdoor dining at our sidewalk cafe or large group dining by the window.

Our Skylight Room is perfect for dinner parties and special occasions.   The Skylight Room offers a private bar with vaulted ceilings all situated  under a thirty foot skylight (one of the more unique private room on the UES)

We are open 7 days a week for lunch & dinner Monday thru Friday from 11:00 am to 3:00 am.  (kitchen open until midnight).  Brunch served on Saturdays at 11:00 am to 4:00 p.m and Sunday’s at 10:00 am.

Dress code is casual but neat.
